Phil is a senior patent attorney in the IP team responsible for Johnson Matthey Plc's Hydrogen Technologies business. After training and qualifying as a UK and European patent attorney with a leading UK firm, Phil joined JM in 2018. Since then, he has held roles providing full-service IP support to a range of JM business units, developing and implementing tailored IP strategies. In addition to core IP work, he has advised on complex JDAs, consortium projects and supplier relationships, has developed and implemented trade secret protection strategies, and has provided training and mentoring in various aspects of IP strategy, as well as the management of critical confidential information and trade secret protection.
